Leviticus 4 : Offerings for unintentional sins
High Priest
If it is the High Priest who commits a sin unintentionally, he brings guilt to the people and should sacrifice a young bull without any defects to remove his sin. He should bring it in front of the Tent and kill it in the Lord's presence. He should then take some of the bulls blood and carry it into the tent. He should sprinkle some of it in front of the sacred curtain. He should put some on the projections of the incense altar. He should then come out and pour the rest at the base of the altar for burnt offerings. Then he should burn the animal in the altar for burnt offerings.
Community
If it is the whole community who commits a sin and it is brought to light, they should bring a young bull for sacrifice. The High should perform the exact same ceremony that he would do if he committed the sin.
Ruler
If it is a ruler who sins, he should bring a male goat without any defects. He should bring it to the Tent, at the north side of the 'altar for burnt offering', put his hand on its head and kill it in the Lord's presence. The priest should dip his fingers into the blood and put it on the projections of the altar. Then the animal must be burnt in the altar for burnt offerings.
One of the common people
If it is a common man, he should bring a female goat without any defects. After this the same procedure that a ruler performs must be followed.
