Leviticus 2 : Grain Offerings
Grain
When one presents grain offering to the Lord, it must be ground into flour and should have olive oil and incense mixed in it. The person who is giving the offering should bring it to the Aaronite priest who will take a handful and burn it on the altar. The rest is holy and belongs to the priests.
Bread
If the offering is bread baked in an oven, it must be made without yeast. It may be of flour mixed with olive oil or brushed with olive oil.
If the offering is bread cooked on a griddle, it is to be made with flour with olive oil without yeast.
If the offering is bread cooked in a pan, it must be made of flour cooked in olive oil.
The bread should be brought to the priest and he will take part of it and burn it on the altar. The rest is holy and belongs to the priests.
