Leviticus 11 : Animals that may be eaten
- Eat animals that have divided hoofs and also chew their cud (chewing cud means - eating, regurgitating the eaten stuff out.. [cows usually make it into a ball], then eating that again). Others are unclean.
- Eat fish that have scales. Others are unclean.
- Eat insects that hop. All other winged insects are unclean.
- Do not eat creatures of the ground (rats, snakes ..etc)
- Do not eat dead animals. They are unclean.
