Lord, help me to remember that nothing is going to happen today that you and I together cannot handle.

Day 73 - Exodus : Chapter 23

Exodus 23 : Laws of Justice

These laws seemed like Jesus's sayings.
Do not spread false rumours. Do not bear false witness against the poor.
Do not be against justice even if the majority are against it.

If you see your enemy's donkey or cow, running loose, take it to him. Don't let the poor animal die since the owner is your enemy.

Do not mistreat a foreigner.
Harvest for 6 years and take rest in the seventh. Work for 6 days and take rest on the seventh.

3 great festivals to be celebrated every year

1. Festival of Unleavened Bread - In the month of Abib, in the same month that Israelites left Egypt, celebrate the festival to remember this event.

2. Harvest Festival - Celebrate this festival when you begin to harvest your crops.

3. Festival of Shelters - Celebrate this festival in the autumn, when you gather the fruit from your vineyards and orchards.
