Exodus 3 : God calls Moses
One day while Moses is taking care of the sheep and goats in the slopes of Mount Sinai, he sees a burning bush. He notices that the flames were not consuming the bush. He goes nearer.
The Lord's voice speaks to him. God asks him to remove his sandals since it is holy land. Moses does. He closes his eyes since it is too bright and he doesn't want to see God face to face.
God tells him that he has seen the plight of his people and heard their cries. He asks Moses to go and deliver them from slavery.
Moses is stunned. He says he is no one and none of the Israelites will listen to him. God says if he goes they will listen to him.
